What you do in Water vs Fire
Fires break out across the level and spread if you leave them alone. Your job is constant triage: get to the worst flame, douse it, scoop the coins, and move on before the next one grows. Spend the coins on upgrades and your character gets stronger, which is the only way to keep up once the fires come faster.
Moving and spraying
There is one mechanic to learn, and it is positioning. You steer toward a fire, stop, and the water sprays on its own.

Coins and getting stronger

Tips for clearing more fire
A few things that help right away:
- Go after the biggest flame first, since large fires spread the fastest.
- Come to a full stop when you spray, because the water only flows when you stand still.
- Buy your first upgrade the moment you can afford it.
- Loop the map so no corner burns out of sight behind you.
